We are looking for a passionate Development Engineer/Scientist to join our team at our site in Holon

The IRIS Business Unit specializes in the development of advanced detection and protection systems for a wide range of platforms, including fighter jets, transport aircraft, passenger planes, and helicopters of all types

As we continue to expand, we are looking for professional and ambitious engineers/scientists to join our mission. You will play a key role in addressing the challenges of the future in platform protection, contributing to cutting-edge solutions in defense technology

Responsibilities

Developing Groundbreaking Tools: Designing advanced simulation tools based on scientific theory to evaluate the performance of cutting-edge systems

Algorithms and Programming: Writing code and developing unique algorithms, primarily in MATLAB, to create simulation tools and analyze data

Broad Professional Support: Collaborating closely with systems engineering, performance analysis, software teams, and clients

Process Leadership: Planning and drafting requirement documents, systematically releasing software tools, and performing quality assurance tests

Involvement in Innovative Projects: Participating in marketing support activities such as market research and idea generation, as well as involvement in lab research and system testing activities

Requirements

Master’s degree (or higher) in engineering or exact sciences

Background in fields like electro-optics, detectors, IR, lasers – an advantage

Experience in developing simulations based on scientific theory – an advantage

Advanced proficiency in MATLAB, including building user interfaces

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Creativity, logical thinking, and a systems-oriented mindset

Excellent interpersonal skills and motivation to make an impact
