Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Application Penetration Tester to join our team. In this role, you will take the lead in ensuring the security of mobile applications by identifying vulnerabilities and guiding the development team to implement robust solutions. The role involves conducting mobile security assessments, reverse engineering applications, mobile malware analysis, and providing actionable guidance to improve the security of mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests and security assessments on mobile applications (iOS, Android).
• Perform static and dynamic application security testing (SAST and DAST).
• Develop and execute manual testing scenarios to complement automated testing tools.
• Collaborate with developers to provide actionable recommendations for mitigating identified risks.
• Create detailed, professional reports outlining findings, risks, and remediation steps.
• Stay updated on the latest mobile security threats, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• General web application penetration testing experience (required).
• Proven experience in mobile application penetration testing with tools such as Frida (required).
• Familiarity with reverse engineering tools and techniques for mobile applications (required).
• Understanding of mobile app development and architectures (iOS/Android SDKs, APIs), (required).
• Proficiency in mobile programming languages (Java, Swift, Kotlin), (required).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail, (required).
• Industry certifications such as GMOB or similar (preferred).
• Experience with mobile application development (preferred).
