Mobile Engineer

A promising startup in the security and crypto industry, focused on developing a digital wallet for cryptocurrencies for B2C customers. The company has built a wallet with an emphasis on a simple and secure user experience, leveraging innovative cryptographic technology, such as MPC (Multi-Party Computation), which uses different encryption methods than most standard crypto wallets. The goal is to significantly improve the user experience by offloading key security responsibilities from users.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, near a train station, and operates on a hybrid model, allowing 3-4 days of remote work per week.

The team consists of 35 employees. They have raised over $20 million in funding, including grants and support from the Chief Scientist and organizations within the industry, including INSIGHT Fund. The product currently serves tens of thousands of active users.

Role Overview-

As part of the development team, the role involves 80% development in React Native, with the remaining work in Node and React. The focus is on delivering high-quality user experience in a rapidly growing market.

Responsibilities-

• Develop and enhance features for the digital wallet using React Native.
• Contribute to backend development using Node and React.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security features.
• Work within an innovative tech stack and contribute to advancing the overall product.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, or similar
• 3 years of experience in software development
• 2 years of experience in React native
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js - an advantage
• Knowledge of core CS concepts such as data structures, algorithms, profiling and optimization
• Experience in software security and cryptography (E.g. elliptic curves, SSL, OAuth)- an advantage
• Experience in AWS (or similar) and large scale infrastructure - an advantage
• Familiar with blockchains and cryptocurrencies - an advantage
