Automation Engineer

A defensive Cybersecurity startup has developed an innovative, patent-protected solution for secure internet browsing. Their technology provides a fundamentally new way to protect users, offering robust defense against all forms of browser-based attacks.

The platform excels at detecting and preventing attacks originating from Web Activity, a major source of global cyber threats.

Founded in 2020, the company has raised $17M in Seed funding from leading venture capital firms. Their product is already in production and used by large paying enterprise customers. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing company.

Located in Herzliya, near a train station, the company has 40 employees and offers a hybrid work model with two work-from-home days per week.

Role Overview-

• As a Senior Developer in the Infra team, reporting to the VP, you will establish infrastructure from scratch using JavaScript (open to transitioning from Python).
• This is an end-to-end role involving hands-on development and infrastructure creation.
• You'll work closely with an Automation Engineer in a team setting. The role involves using Jira in an AWS environment.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on E2E/UI testing • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as JavaScript / Typescript or similar
• Proven track record of building scalable automation frameworks from scratch
• Expertise in testing web applications, APIs and backend systems
• Deep understanding of CI/CD processes and integrating automation into pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises environments • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and passionate about quality assurance and automation Nice to have but not a must:
• Working with UI automation testing tools such as Playwright / Puppeteer / Selenium / Cypress
• A start-up working experience, preferably in early stages
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and testing for security vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP
