Who we are

Agile MRI is an up-and-coming startup founded in 2022 with the vision of making MRIs accessible to everyone by developing an affordable and compact scanner that can be placed at the doctor’s office. Our revolutionary approach will provide the patient with on-site diagnosis, saving them lengthy waiting periods and trips to the hospital or radiology center.

Agile MRI’s unique imaging method shifts the complexity from the hardware to the software by employing a more sophisticated reconstruction algorithms.

The position

As part of our early team, you will take part in solving the exciting challenges of developing a low-field scanner that operates in a broad range of environmental conditions. This requires a deep understanding of the underlying physics and a first-principles approach.

The role spans several disciplines and involves:

-       Developing novel imaging techniques to get the best of the physics of low-field and implementing them in our hardware.

-       Writing algorithms based on advanced signal processing to model the complex operating environment and produce clinically relevant MRI images.

About you

• MSc/PhD in Physics.
• Experience in simulations of physical systems.
• Good programming skills in Matlab and/or python.
• Good proficiency in signal processing.
• Experience with NMR and MRI – big advantage.
• Experience with FEM software (Comsol, Ansys Maxwell, ..) - advantage.
