Director of Business Growth & MDR Services

A leading cybersecurity consulting and managed services company is seeking a dynamic and seasoned leader to take on the pivotal role of Director of Managed Detection & Response (MDR) Services. This is a senior management position and part of the company’s executive leadership team, with a primary focus on driving global business development and expansion while delivering top-tier managed services across Europe, Africa, and beyond. The role involves close collaboration with renowned technology partners such as Microsoft and Palo Alto to foster strategic alliances and market growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in global business development, leveraging strong business acumen and technical understanding to identify new markets, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. They will combine these skills with exceptional leadership abilities to foster long-term client relationships and achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Serve as a member of the executive team, shaping and executing the company’s global expansion strategy.

• Identify new business opportunities and spearhead market entry strategies in emerging regions.

Global Business Development:

• Lead initiatives to expand the MDR services portfolio, increasing market share and profitability.

• Develop strategic alliances with technology partners and global clients, enhancing the company’s footprint.

• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and client needs, adapting service offerings accordingly.

Client & Partner Management:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients and strategic partners worldwide.

• Navigate escalations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and tailored solutions.

Operational Management (24/7):

• Oversee round-the-clock service delivery, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to SLAs.

• Optimize service delivery processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

• Lead a team of 4 direct managers and approximately 50 employees, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

• Inspire and mentor teams to achieve organizational goals and deliver superior client outcomes.

Financial Oversight:

• Manage P&L for the MDR business unit, aligning financial performance with strategic objectives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on global business development in managed services (experience in cybersecurity is a strong advantage).

• Proven experience in expanding services into new markets and establishing strategic partnerships.

• Strong technical background with the ability to align technological solutions with business needs.

• Demonstrated success in managing P&L and driving revenue growth.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required; additional languages are an advantage.
