Software Engineer

A cybersecurity startup operating in the Automotive and Connected Car domains provides a cloud-based cybersecurity and data analytics platform for the automotive industry.

Located in central Israel, within walking distance of a train station, the company operates on a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week. The team consists of 115 global employees, most of whom are based in Israel.

The company has completed a Series C funding round, raising over $100M, and is well-positioned for continued growth. Backed by strategic investors from the automotive industry, they have paying customers, including car manufacturers, insurance companies, and fleet management firms.

Role Overview-

• Be the first team member working on a new product within the company.
• Report directly to a Team Lead.
• Architect and implement resilient, high-performance backend services for the cloud-native cybersecurity platform.
• Enhance data flows and scale integrations with automotive data systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to build secure, flexible solutions.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and adapt to ongoing changes.
• Tech Stack: Kotlin, AWS, GCP, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Microservices.

Requirements-

• 5 years of backend development experience, with large-scale products.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and services.
• Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker and monitoring technologies.
• Experience in Kafka, Redis, Postgres, and Trino.
• Proven track-record in delivering reliable software products.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to balance multiple stakeholders’ inputs.
