Production Control Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of operations on the production floor, coordinating various tasks, and providing essential support to meet production goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production environment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage material shortages and ensure timely supply to the production line.
• Release work orders to the production floor and monitor workflow between stations.
• Prioritize tasks and address issues as they arise to maintain production efficiency.
• Continuously track and manage open work orders on the production floor.
• Identify bottlenecks in the production process and escalate issues to department managers.
• Collaborate with various departments, including warehouses, planners, production workers, project managers, quality control teams, and department managers.

Requirements:

• Industrial Engineering Technician (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of experience in a production line environment
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SAP
• Experience working on the production floor – highly preferred.
