VDI Specialist

Mertens-Malam Team is looking for a VDI Specialist to join a leading organization in Ramat Gan

Job Description:

• Managing and maintaining a VDI environment based on VMware Horizon Enterprise
• Ongoing management and maintenance of a VMware vSphere environment
• Maintaining Windows 10/11 (Master Image)
• Analyzing server performance, crashes, logs, and troubleshooting issues
• Automating infrastructure processes and developing complex scripts in PowerShell
• Collaborating directly with international vendors
• Operating in a production environment with multiple servers and systems

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator – required.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems – required.
• Experience in maintaining a VDI environment (VMware Horizon) – required.
• Experience in maintaining a VMware vSphere 8.x environment – required.
• Experience managing Group Policy – a significant advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering – a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with the following products is an advantage:
• VDI: VMware Horizon 7/8, VMware vSphere, VMware DEM, AppVolume
• Automation: PowerShell, CLI
