Software Engineer (Real-Time)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced real-time software developer, for a central role in our Radar software development team, working on highly challenging algorithms and architectures. The position involves working with the radar Algo and H/W teams for software development, designing, coding and testing of real-time algorithms on edge, catering for H/W-S/W interfaces, data flow management and more. This is a full-time, hybrid role, primarily located in Rehovot, Park HaMada, next to the train station.

Responsibilities

• Lead the radar software design from early design stages through coding and testing up to the final deployment
• Implementation of radar processes and algorithms on edge (NVIDIA) – Hands on coding
• Coordinate and allocate coding assignments to other S/W team members, including CUDA expert, and integrate the code into the radar S/W
• H/W-S/W and internal S/W interfaces definition, design and coding
• Lead the validation and deployment processes
• Cooperate with system algorithms & backend teams

Qualifications

• B.Sc in computer science, S/W engineering, Electrical engineering or similar.
• 5-7 years industry/military experience in real-time S/W development over LINUX.
• Python proficiency (Sklearn, NumPy, SciPy) – a must
• C++ – a must
• Experience in algo implementation on GPU in CUDA - advantage
• Automotive/Robotics/Radar/MedTech systems experience – advantage
• Understanding of automated driving sensing, perception, sensor fusion, localization, geo-mapping, navigation – advantage
