Product Owner

We are seeking a talented and driven Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building innovative products, experience in fintech or financial services, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for defining product vision, gathering requirements, prioritizing features, and ensuring the successful delivery of digital solutions that align with Ezbob's strategic goals.

As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our lending platform and delivering value to our customers. You will work closely with the development, design, and business teams to drive the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring a seamless and impactful user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Vision:
• Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Ezbob’s digital lending solutions.
• Align product goals with business objectives and customer needs, ensuring that each feature delivers value.
• Drive innovation by identifying market trends and customer pain points and translating them into actionable product requirements.
• Requirement Gathering & Prioritization:
• Work closely with stakeholders (e.g., customers, business leaders, and technical teams) to gather product requirements and translate them into user stories, use cases, and technical specifications.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility, using a data-driven approach.
• Agile Product Development:
• Lead the Agile product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
• Collaborate with development and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
• Continuously monitor the progress of the product lifecycle, identify risks, and resolve roadblocks.
• User-Centric Design & Testing:
• Ensure that user experience (UX) and customer feedback are integral to product decisions, collaborating with design and UX teams to refine product interfaces and interactions.
• Oversee the testing and validation of product features to ensure they meet user expectations and business requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
• Provide regular updates to key stakeholders, including leadership, development teams, and external partners, on product progress, KPIs, and milestones.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for product features, requirements, and user stories.
• Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
• Analyze product performance post-launch, track KPIs, and gather user feedback to continuously improve the product.
• Use data-driven insights to make iterative product enhancements and to adapt the roadmap based on evolving customer needs and market trends.
  
  

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or digital lending.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product development lifecycles.
• Proven track record of delivering complex digital products from concept to launch.
• Skills & Expertise:
• Excellent understanding of product management principles, business analysis, and customer journey mapping.
• Familiarity with financial products, lending platforms, and the regulatory landscape in fintech.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Aha!, or similar product management tools.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions (experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar is a plus).
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with AI, machine learning, or automation in financial services.
• Familiarity with open banking or payment systems.
• Knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, etc.) and their impact on product development.
