What You’ll Be Doing

As a Data Engineer at Neema, you’ll be at the heart of building and scaling a robust data infrastructure that empowers the entire organization. Your work will ensure seamless data integration, optimized pipelines, and the availability of high-quality data for analysis and external consumption.

Design and Maintain Scalable Data Pipelines:

• Develop and optimize data pipelines using modern tools such as Apache Airflow and Kafka.
• Build robust ETL/ELT processes to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
• Handle structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from diverse sources.

Modern Data Stack Integration:

• Leverage Snowflake, dbt, and AWS services (S3, Glue, K8s) to implement scalable data solutions.
• Design data models and architectures to support analytics, reporting, and data services.
• Ensure the data infrastructure is secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.

Enable Data-Driven Decisions:

• Collaborate with BI, data analysts, and product to make data accessible and actionable.
• Build and maintain APIs and data services to enable seamless external consumption of data.
• Implement data governance best practices to maintain high data quality and compliance.

Drive Continuous Optimization:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of data pipelines and workflows.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve the data stack.

What You’ll Bring

Experience:

• 2+ years as a Data Engineer, preferably in a fintech or tech-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and integration tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Apache Airflow (a must).
• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Glue, K8s) and data streaming tools like Kafka.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and models for large-scale systems.

Skills:

• Strong SQL expertise for data modeling and querying.
• Knowledge of modern data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex data workflows.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
