Experience Team Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Software Team Lead to guide and inspire our Experience Team in bringing creative ideas to life. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine interactive models, test ideas, and validate concepts. Your focus will be on driving the prototyping process, mentoring your team, and leading efforts to design, test, and iterate on solutions based on feedback.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in building POCs, tests, and prototypes to validate assumptions and explore new concepts
• Drive the design and development of prototypes to enable research and testing of new features and capabilities
• Oversee the refinement and testing of prototypes to support user research and feedback cycles
• Guide cross-functional design processes and influence strategic decision-making across teams
• Contribute to both tactical and strategic product decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Foster a collaborative and solution-oriented team culture, tackling challenges with creativity and a positive mindset
• Provide mentorship to team members, helping them grow technically and professionally
• Ensure high-quality prototyping work that aligns with broader product and research goals
  
  

• Strong experience coding in Python (5+ years) - a must
• Proven experience in C++/C or other real-time programming languages - huge advantage
• Hands-on experience with AI applications, including the integration of machine learning models - huge advantage
• Proven experience leading teams in the development of prototypes within short timeframes
• Strong knowledge of real-time systems and multidisciplinary architectures spanning various domains
• Familiarity with hardware integration and debugging
• Experience collaborating closely with researchers to align prototypes with user research
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative user research methods
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to shape product vision and direction
• Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
