Data Scientist

A stealth-mode startup in the neurotechnology field, building complex models from raw data that do not yet exist. These models aim to revolutionize neuroscience research, mental health, and human quality of life.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, within walking distance of a train station, employs 40 people, and operates on a hybrid model (1 day per week from home).

Currently in the advanced stages of closing a Round A funding, this is an exciting time to join the team.

The position involves-

• Join the Core Research Team of 8 leading researchers, most holding postdoctoral degrees from top global universities.
• Conducting research and development of groundbreaking technologies for decoding and mapping brain activity, with applications across diverse fields of life.
• Engaging in scientific-theoretical work, designing and conducting experimental research in neuroscience.
• Collaborating with Deep Learning experts to develop clinical experiments, analyze data, and interpret results from advanced models and networks.
• Conducting research using AI methodologies and working with tools such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras on diverse data types (e.g., signals, time-series).
• Working with clinical and biological data, advancing partnerships, and contributing to the research perspective.

Requirements-

• Master’s degree or higher from a leading university.
• 3 years experience in data science, working on neural network explainability and high-dimensional data
• Significant understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts
• Strong ability to perform data analysis Independently, including problem definition,
• state-of-the-art computational techniques, statistics and significance testing, and visualizations
• Experience analyzing neural or other physiological signals (a plus)
