Senior Frontend Developer

We're looking for people who live and breathe user experience. If you love obsessing over minute details, if you know how hard it is to create something intuitive and simple, if you have such a strong grasp of the foundations of CSS, HTML, JS and React that Dan Abramov comes to you for advice, if you've ever fought to lower a bundle chunk size to 5kb, if you dream of the browser Dev Tools when you sleep, if you know that Lighthouse is not a building and if you have a super strong opinion of css-grid - this job is for you!

You will lead core decisions and implementation efforts in the team - from choosing our initial techstack through growing it to easily support scale, to hiring, teaching and supporting less experienced engineers

You will be one of the first members of a small, commando-like, R&D team.

You will lead the frontend efforts in the team - choosing our techstack & architecture, and mentoring others.

You're a good fit if:

• you have 4+ years of total experience
• you have 3+ years of modern frontend-focused experience (React or other SPA framework, SASS/LESS/css-in-js, HTML5)
• you have 1+ years of Typescript experience
• you get annoyed at bad user experiences
• you believe a small, dedicated team is 10x better than a big team
• you care about your team members
• you are looking to both learn and teach
• you understand how to design and test accessible, responsive components
• you take pride in your SPA architecture designs
