Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated QA and Automation Team Leader to join our engineering team in Tel Aviv. In this role, you will lead a team of quality assurance engineers in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge SaaS platform. You will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining robust testing processes and automation frameworks, ensuring a seamless user experience while guaranteeing the high performance of our applications that drive e-commerce success for brands worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA and Automation engineers, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies for PDQ’s SaaS platform.
• Design and develop automation frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests, ensuring thorough coverage of all features and functionalities.
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
• Identify, track, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies, staying abreast of industry best practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on test progress and quality metrics.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 2+ years of experience in leading QA teams.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Extensive experience in test automation framework design and implementation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Advantages:

• Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.
• Knowledge of security testing principles and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS).
• Experience in the e-commerce or SaaS industry.
