Assistant Controller - Israel based

As one of the largest People Experience Management Cloud Solutions consulting firms in the EMEA region, AKT is looking for an Assistant Controller.

The Assistant Controller will play a key support role in the company’s financial operations, assisting in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Reporting to the CFO, this is a full-time position available to candidates based in Israel.

Role and Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the accuracy of financial data
• Assist in analyzing monthly and quarterly Budgets vs Actuals, forecasts and company goals
• Ad-hoc analytical reviews
• Assist with preparation of management reports
• Support the preparation of annual tax reports and other statutory reporting requirements
• Work with the company's external auditors/advisors on audit, accounting, and other matters
• Contribute to establishing and maintaining financial key policies, procedures, and controls throughout the entire reporting process
• Support the accounting team in various tasks and reporting
• Preparing ad hoc reports
• Oversee daily operations of financial activities and liaise with service providers

Job Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Audit experience from one of the Big 4 - advantage
• 1-2 years of post-internship experience in a global company – advantage
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew
• Strong knowledge of US-GAAP and Israeli GAAP
• Proficiency with SAPB1- advantage
• Familiarity and understanding of transfer pricing models and international tax planning – advantage
