Merchant Finance Associate

Job Description

The Merchant Finance Associate supports the financial operations of the merchant finance

team, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial transactions. This role acts as a key

contact for finance-related queries, helps maintain financial records, supports the team with

process improvements, and assists in managing invoicing and regulatory requirements.

Role Requirements:

• Assist as the first point of contact for finance-related inquiries, resolving routine issues to
  
  

support day-to-day operations.

• Support the supervision and review of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and
  
  

compliance.

• Contribute to the implementation of process improvements to streamline daily financial
  
  

workflows.

• Assist finance teams in resolving basic issues related to invoices, payments, and
  
  

discrepancies.

• Participate in special projects involving cross-functional collaboration, under the
  
  

guidance of team manager.

• Support tax-related processes and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Help ensure timely and accurate processing of financial records, such as invoices and
  
  

payment documentation.

Our humble expectations

• 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Basic understanding of financial bodies, regulations and standards, with a willingness to
  
  

learn more.

• Experience working with Excel and data analytic tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and
  
  

resolving routine discrepancies.

• Ability to work collaboratively and support multiple stakeholders within the finance team.
• Experience with financial tools and platforms for documentation and record-keeping is an
  
  

advantage but not required.

• Eagerness to grow in the role and take on increasing responsibilities.
