System Engineer

A leading technology company based in Netanya specializes in developing multidisciplinary systems for terrain dominance and ground surveillance, primarily for defense and homeland security. The systems leverage advanced wireless sensor networks, cutting-edge sensing technologies, unique data fusion algorithms, and ultra-low power consumption. The company’s solutions also include autonomous aerial deployment using miniature drones.

With 14 years of experience, the company employs around 40 professionals and provides systems to clients in Israel and globally.

Job Description:

• Leading the system architecture and design process
• Writing system documentation
• Deep understanding of all system components (hardware, software, network protocols, algorithms, mechanics, etc.)
• System integration of sensor networks, wireless communication systems, and miniature drones
• System management, control, and monitoring
• Problem-solving, conducting research, and delivering solutions
• Collaborating with customers and managing subcontractors
• Participating in unit tests and system-level tests in laboratories and in the field

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering for multidisciplinary projects
• B.Sc. (or higher) in Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
• Extensive knowledge in hardware, software, algorithms, and mechanics
• MATLAB proficiency – an advantage
• Experience working with hardware and embedded software – an advantage
• Experience with sensor systems – an advantage
• Background in wireless communication networks and protocol development – an advantage
• Experience with drones and airborne systems – an advantage
