Python Developer

A medical startup helping doctors make AI-based algorithmic decisions, developing a system powered by AI and Deep Learning algorithms. Their platform aids medical teams in making faster decisions by providing injury severity analysis even in the field (e.g., combat zones), using their device during examination—without waiting for results. The system is a user-friendly, cloud-based SaaS platform, with models trained on over 300,000 studies.

The company is located in central Israel, works in a hybrid model (two days from home), and has 20 employees. Founded in 2022 by entrepreneurs, some former members of Unit 8200 and others globally recognized in cardiology, the company raised $13 million in seed funding. They have paying customers such as Sheba Hospital and several hospitals in the U.S. and Israel.

About the role-

• Part of the development department, divided into Backend and Frontend developers
• 100% Backend position
• Develop the Backend and API for the cloud-based SaaS platform (AWS, GCP)
• Report to the R&D manager
• Work with Computer Vision and Deep Learning algorithms
• Technologies: Python, FastAPI, AWS, Microservices, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, Linux

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in backend development with Python
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with database management, performance tuning, and data migration
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Basic Devops skills are an advantage
