Full Stack Engineer

An international and successful high-tech company developing educational digital content platforms based on animation.

Development is done in PHP and Vue.js.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, near a train line, and operates on a hybrid model with three work-from-home days per week.

The team includes approximately 270 employees (60 in Israel and the rest in the U.S.), with the development department located in Israel, consisting of around 35 developers.

About the role-

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications and APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure seamless performance
• Work closely with Product Management, UX & Design, and other Developers to build new tools enabling creativity at scale
• Ensure the code is of the highest quality by practicing and evangelizing engineering best practices (code reviews, pairing, etc.)

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience as a full-stack developer
• Experience with PHP and frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
• Experience with a modern client-side framework like Vue, React, Angular or Ember
• Architectural understanding of web applications
• B.Sc.or M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent experience-advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of work in modern environments: version control, build tools, CI servers
• Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills
• Eager to learn more about new languages and framework
