Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Superintendent to join our team in Haifa.

This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a key role in managing the daily operations of our cargo and cruise ships.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate ship schedules and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
• Lead and manage personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Oversee vessel maintenance and repairs to guarantee optimal performance.
• Collaborate with shipping companies, port authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain budgetary controls.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Graduate of the Naval Academy's Seamanship Systems course (Engineering).
• Experience: Proven track record as a Chief Mechanic in the Navy or equivalent maritime experience.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• In-depth knowledge of the maritime industry, including rules, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Expertise in procurement and budgetary cost control.
• Other Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively for global projects.

תחומי אחריות עיקריים

• תיאום לוחות זמנים של אניות והבטחת עמידה בתקנות ימיות.
• הובלה וניהול של צוותים תוך יצירת סביבת עבודה חיובית ושיתופית.
• פיקוח על תחזוקה ותיקונים של כלי שיט כדי להבטיח ביצועים מיטביים.
• שיתוף פעולה עם חברות ספנות, רשויות נמל ובעלי עניין נוספים.
• הבטחת עמידה במדיניות רכש ושמירה על בקרות תקציביות.

דרישות תפקיד

• רקע השכלתי: בוגר קורס מערכות השטה באקדמיה הימית (הנדסה).
• ניסיון: ניסיון מוכח כמכונאי ראשי בחיל הים או ניסיון ימי שווה ערך.
• כישורים:
• יכולות מנהיגות ותקשורת חזקות.
• שליטה באנגלית (כתיבה ודיבור).
• ידע מעמיק בתעשייה הימית, כולל חוקים, תקנות וסטנדרטים של תאימות.
• מומחיות ברכש ובקרה על עלויות תקציביות.
