Cyber Security Analyst

A cybersecurity startup is developing a platform to monitor suspicious behaviors within organizations and provide solutions to cyber threats impersonating company employees. For example, it detects malicious text messages from the payroll department that appear completely innocent, utilizing sophisticated machine learning algorithms.

Located in Ramat Gan (near a train station), the company offers a hybrid work model and has a team of approximately 30 employees.

Founded by three experienced entrepreneurs, it has raised $23 million in Seed and Round A funding from leading investors.

The company has numerous clients in Israel and the U.S., primarily large-scale enterprises such as international banks, U.S. and European insurance companies, and other organizations with thousands or tens of thousands of employees.

Role Overview:

• As part of the analysts and SOC team, your responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring and analyzing alerts.
• Investigating unusual behaviors.
• Reporting anomalies in servers and systems to customers.
• Providing support to international clients in English.
• Working in a multi-cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Collaborating with customer experience teams.

Requirements

• Experienced SOC tier 2 cyber analyst (2-5 years) or equivalent army service
• Strong knowledge of Cyber Security
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Cyber analytics / Forensics background
• Cloud security knowledge (big advantage)
• Data-oriented personality, Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Customer facing experience
• Multitasking and ability to work under pressure
• Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized
