Storage & Backup Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Storage & Backup Specialist to join our team and take ownership of managing and optimizing large-scale storage and backup infrastructures. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of enterprise-grade storage and backup systems and a proven ability to operate in complex, high-demand environments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain storage and backup systems in large-scale, enterprise environments.
• Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for storage systems (e.g., IBM Storage, NetApp, or similar).
• Implement and maintain advanced backup solutions, with a strong preference for experience in Veeam and Rubrik platforms.
• Plan, deploy, and lead storage and backup infrastructure projects, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Support mission-critical environments with high availability and data integrity requirements.
• Develop, document, and enforce procedures and workflows for storage and backup management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust IT solutions that meet business goals.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Storage and Backup technologies in large organizations with significant data volumes and complex systems.
• Deep expertise in managing and supporting various storage systems, including IBM Storage and NetApp, or similar platforms.
• Proven experience in maintaining and supporting advanced backup systems, preferably Veeam and Rubrik.
• Familiarity with multi-user environments and managing critical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and deliver technology projects related to storage and backup.
• Experience writing and implementing technical processes and procedures.
