One of our clients, an innovative technology startup dedicated to making healthcare more accessible and affordable in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Backend Team Lead to join their team. This company has developed the nation’s largest network of providers, pharmacies, partners, and life sciences companies, united by a mission to reduce the financial burden on patients and improve access to treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of four skilled developers in the fields of data and scale.
• Design and develop scalable systems and architectures.
• Work with large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Manage and improve the team’s codebase and infrastructure with a strong sense of ownership.
• Collaborate with various technical teams to drive project success.
• Prioritize, estimate, and oversee the delivery of team tasks.
• Ensure high coding standards and attention to detail in all outputs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of backend engineering experience before team management.
• At least 2 years of managerial experience or experience as a senior architect.
• Expertise in scalable system design and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Significant experience with data-driven and high-scale environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage large and complex codebases.
