POLITICAL ANALYST- JOB DESCRIPTION

• Analyze political systems, foreign relations, government laws and regulations and political ideologies and the evaluation of these effects on the political, social and economic spheres;

• Collecting data from various sources, such as historical documents, public opinion polls and election results for the development and examination of political theories;

• Use of statistical data for analysis and interpretation of research findings;

• Predicting political, economic and social trends;

• Compiling reports, presentations and/or publishing articles on research findings for various stakeholders to consider;

• Tracking current political events (local and international), policy and legislation changes and other issues;

• Staying updated with local and international political trends and developments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS - POLITICAL ANALYST:

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, law, public administration or a related field – mandatory;

• Proven experience as a political analyst, or in a similar role in a political or government department – bonus.

• A portfolio, including published articles – bonus.

• Experience using statistical analysis software and qualitative / quantitative research tools – bonus.

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. – mandatory

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a variety of languages (English at an academic level - mandatory, other languages – bonus.

• Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks - a must.

• English at mother tongue level – mandatory

• Very organized and detail-oriented - a must.
