מהנדס/ת מערכות מחשוב - Computer Systems Engineer

דרוש/ה - מהנדס/ת מערכות מחשוב למחלקה להנדסה ביורפואית

תיאור התפקיד:

א. פיתוח מערכות ניסוי מלוות תוכנה במעבדות ההוראה והמחקר במחלקה.

ב. תפעול ותחזוקת מערכות המחשוב, המידע והרשת במחלקה ובמעבדות ההוראה והמחקר.

ג. מתן הדרכה וסיוע לסטודנטים ולחברי סגל בלומדות ותוכנות יישומיות להוראה ומחקר.

ד. יעוץ והדרכת חברי סגל וסטודנטים בשימושי ציוד אלקטרוני ומחשבים במעבדות.

ה. אחריות לתקינות מערך המחשוב במחלקה: מעבדות, כיתות מחשבים, חדרי סמינרים, משרדים וכו'.

ו. גיבוי ואבטחת מערכות, תמיכה והתקנת מערכות הפעלה וחבילות תוכנה.

ז. פיתוח ותחזוקת אתר האינטרנט במחלקה, סיוע בהקמה ותחזוקה של אתרי אינטרנט אישיים לחברי סגל.

ח. רכישת ציוד, מחשוב וחומרה, קיום קשר עם ספקים חיצוניים.

ט. נאמן בטיחות ואחראי על סדרי הבטיחות, בהתאם לדרישות החוק.

דרישות התפקיד:

א. תואר אקדמי במדעי ההנדסה או במדעי הטבע, רצוי- בהנדסה ביורפואית או בהנדסת חשמל ומחשבים או בהנדסת מערכות מידע או בהנדסת תוכנה.

ב. ניסיון של 3 שנים בתחומים רלוונטיים.

ג. ניסיון עבודה עם מערכות VMware, Windows ,Linux .

ד. ניסיון עבודה עם תקשורת מחשבים.

ה. ניסיון עבודה בתכנות ובמתן תמיכת מחשוב למשתמשים.

ו. שליטה בשפה האנגלית ברמה טובה.

Computer Systems Engineer - Department of Biomedical Engineering

Job Description:

A. Development of experimental systems with accompanying software in the teaching and research laboratories of the department.

B. Operation and maintenance of computer systems, information systems, and networks in the department and in the teaching and research laboratories.

C. Providing training and assistance to students and faculty members in using educational and research software and applications.

D. Advising and guiding faculty and students in using electronic equipment and computers in laboratories.

E. Responsibility for the proper functioning of the department's computer systems: laboratories, computer classrooms, seminar rooms, offices, etc.

F. Backup and security of systems, support, and installation of operating systems and software packages.

G. Development and maintenance of the department's website, assistance in setting up and maintaining personal websites for faculty members.

H. Purchasing equipment, computers, and hardware, maintaining contact with external suppliers.

I. Safety officer, responsible for safety procedures in accordance with legal requirements.

Job Requirements:

A. Academic degree in engineering or natural sciences, preferably in biomedical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, information systems engineering, or software engineering.

B. At least 3 years of experience in relevant fields.

C. Experience working with VMware, Windows, and Linux systems.

D. Experience with computer networking.

E. Experience in programming and providing computing support to users.

F. Proficiency in English at a good level.
