Role Context

KSG is seeking applicants with a strong background in economic analysis, focusing on the intersection of business, geopolitics, finance, investment, resources, and energy. This position will involve leading analyses for Knightsbridge's diverse client base, with an emphasis on understanding how geopolitical dynamics influence global markets and investment strategies. The ideal candidate should have experience working on the economic impacts of regional or global political developments, with flexibility to deploy internationally as required.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of global economic trends and their intersection with geopolitics, resources, and energy markets.

• Experience analysing the impact of political and security dynamics on business, finance, and investment.

• Experience in government, consulting, or finance as an analyst, economist, or strategist is highly desirable.

• Excellent English language skills, with the ability to write and present in a clear and concise manner.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for in-country analysis and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing real-time economic and geopolitical intelligence updates and analysis for Knightsbridge’s platforms.

• Delivering analytical intelligence and wargames for public and private sector clients on economic and geopolitical risks.

• Conducting economic risk consultancy and producing reports for clients in sectors such as finance, energy, mining, and insurance.

• Leading verbal briefings for internal and external stakeholders.
