Backend Developer (Go) – Cloud Optimization Startup

A Tel Aviv-based startup is developing an innovative platform to help enterprise clients optimize their cloud costs. They are currently looking for an experienced Backend Developer (Go) to join their team remotely and start immediately. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge platform and grow within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the VP of R&D and VP of Product to deliver features in a high-speed, dynamic environment.
• Design and develop scalable, reliable backend features using Go.
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure and integrate APIs from major cloud providers.
• Utilize PostgreSQL as the primary database and manage source control using GitHub.
• Contribute to the product’s success while integrating into the team culture.

About the Team

• Backend Team: 6 developers specializing in Go.
• Frontend Team: 2 developers specializing in React.
• This role focuses primarily on backend development, with opportunities for team growth as the company expands.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Go and experience with cloud-based systems (AWS preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL and GitHub.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Immediate availability to start.

Location

• Preference for candidates based in Europe, ideally Budapest.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Hiring Process

• Two-stage interview process:

1. A 1-hour interview with the COO and CTO.
2. Completion of an offline technical task.
