Our team – Vehicle Camera Services is a team responsible for developing a deeply integrated vehicle camera services for millions of GM production cars.

Our target is enabling users to use the vehicle cameras in many Innovative ways.

Our solution is an vehicle android based apps and services, aimed to be used in vehicle and remotely and it involves utilization the vehicle infrastructure services.

We are looking for Android team lead to join our group

In this role you will requires experience in software development and data engineering best practices, as well as an ability to research and use emerging technologies to solve large scale big data problems and to create new business opportunities. You will perform hands on design and programming for real time high bandwidth & mega scale system development.

• You will have a comprehensive responsibility from POC level, design, implementation, and test, all the way to production deployment and customer launch.
• Co-development with local and global teams, on wide range of technologies from vehicle engineering to data platforms and UI/mobile developers.
• Explore new technologies to modernize software processes.
• Improve your skills, learn from, and mentor top-notch engineers and enrich other team members
  
  

What will you do?

• You will have a comprehensive responsibility from POC level, design, implementation, and test, a reliable Kotlin/Java code, all the way to production deployment and customer launch.
• Co-development with local and global teams, on wide range of technologies.
• Integrate and work with other vehicle services.
• Take a key role in requirements, architecture, design, code and test case reviews.
  
  

Additional Job Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• BSc in computer science or a similar field
• Over 5 years of professional JAVA Android development experience
• Proficient with Kotlin
• Over 3 years of team leading leading

• Experience with global large scale production releases with multiple development
• Experience in agile environment
• Experience in the automotive industry
