Maintenance Engineer

Pi-Cardia, a dynamic medical device startup specializing in cardiovascular innovations, is

looking for a talented Maintenance Engineer to join our team. If you're skilled in managing

facilities infrastructure, equipment maintenance, calibration, and safety, we want to hear

from you. Bring your technical expertise to the forefront and play a crucial role in ensuring

the smooth operation and safety of our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for maintenance and calibration of manufacturing, QC and R&D, equipment, jigs, and tools.
• Preparing and monitoring an annual maintenance plan and defining required
• maintenance actions for the company’s equipment, jigs and tools.
• Overall responsibility for company facilities repairs on various systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical; diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures promptly.
• Work closely with other departments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize
• tasks; assist in training staff on safety practices related to equipment use.
• Act as a first responder for facility-related emergencies, coordinating with external vendors when necessary.
• Analyzing test data and identifying areas for improvement of equipment output.
• Design manufacturing jigs.
• Performing validation for jigs, tools, equipment and facility.
• Overall responsibility for safety in the company.

Qualifications

• Practical Engineer/BSC in Engineering.
• High technical ability with a hands-on approach
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking
• Ability to read and understand technical/mechanical drawings
• Proficiency in English (reading/writing)
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
• Good control of SolidWorks
• Multi-tasking and handling rapid changes
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry - A Plus
