Full Stack Engineer

A medical startup has developed a proactive preventive healthcare software system that leverages organizational databases and historical patient data. The system provides early predictions of chronic diseases and issues alerts to healthcare organizations.

By utilizing artificial intelligence and big data analysis, the company aims to optimize global healthcare systems and predict patient deterioration in advance.

Located in Tel Aviv near a train line, the company operates a hybrid model with two work-from-home days and has approximately 28 employees worldwide, including 18 in Israel.

Founded eight years ago, the company has raised $84 million to date.

About the role

• Full Stack development with approximately 70% backend development in Python and 30% frontend development in React.
• The role is part of the Core team, comprising 12 developers, reporting directly to the VP of R&D.
• Tech stack: Python, React, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres/MySQL, Snowflake.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience writing code, both frontend, and backend (we use React and Python).
• Strong proficiency and passion in backend development.
• A deep understanding of production systems and the architecture of web products.
• Experience working with modern databases (preferably relational DBs).
• Experience managing web-facing software in a live production environment.
• You have experience leading processes or technical aspects.
• You are fluent with at least some of the following technologies - React, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres/MySQL, AWS, Snowflake, dbt.
• Great written and spoken English.
