Senior Project Manager (867146)

We are looking for a Senior PM to oversee the day-to-day operations of our software development organization and manage project delivery.

This role focuses on operational efficiency, resource management, and project governance, ensuring smooth functioning of development teams without requiring technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management (60%)

• Oversee daily operations of the development organization.

• Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and workforce scheduling.

• Establish and maintain operational policies and procedures.

• Monitor and optimize operational costs and budgets.

• Coordinate with HR on recruiting, onboarding, and team structure.

• Manage vendor relationships and external partnerships.

• Create and maintain operational reporting and KPI tracking.

• Implement and maintain quality management systems.

• Coordinate facilities and equipment needs for development teams.

• Manage operational risk and compliance requirements.

Project Management (40%)

• Oversee and ensure project portfolio and resource allocation.

• Establish project management frameworks and methodologies.

• Manage project budgets and timelines.

• Monitor and evaluate project performance against established KPIs and milestones.

• Facilitate project planning and review meetings.

• Manage project documentation and communication.

• Identify and mitigate operational risks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.

• 7+ years of operations management experience.

• 5+ years of project management experience.

• Strong background in resource management and capacity planning.

• Experience with operational process improvement.

• Proven track record in budget management.

Nice to have, but not a must:

• PMP certification.

• Experience in software industry operations.

• Background in process optimization.

• Experience with distributed team operations.

• Six Sigma certification.
