Quality Assurance Team Lead

PlainID, a leading startup, is seeking an R&D backend team leader to join our growing team to improve the end-to-end product features and align the R&D solution to the company's business needs and overcome new technology challenges. Our solution is based on Java, Go, and React, moving to SaaS with multi-tenancy based on microservices architecture. We are working in Agile with TDD/BDD and extreme programming processes to complete the end-to-end lifecycle of CI/CD. As the QA team Lead, you will be responsible for defining and leading the Testing strategy.

Description:

• Be a team player and leader with hands-on ability both manual and automation
• Define, track and present Quality KPI’s within the QA group and the broader organization
• Monitoring and optimizing quality processes, such as test planning, test case design, and feature signoff.
• Mentoring, training, and providing support to QA engineers who are part of our organic development teams
• Collaborating with all departments in the PlainID unit: Development, Product, Devops, Professional services etc.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Hands-on experience with SaaS platform (manual and automation, preferred in Java)
• At least 2-3 years of experience managing Manual/Automation QA teams.
• Proven expertise in API testing and web application - A must.
• Experience in CI/CD process and supporting tools (i.e. GitLab).
• Proficiency in writing comprehensive testing documentation.
• Thorough familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle within an Agile environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• Independent, persistent, and "getting things done" person - A must.
• Advantage - Experience with Zephyr
• Advantage - Deep understanding of Cyber Security domain
