We are looking for a skilled and proactive FinOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs across AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes environments. You will play a key role in cost monitoring, budgeting, and optimizing cloud resources, collaborating with various teams to ensure cost-efficiency while maintaining performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze cloud spending using AWS Cost Explorer, GCP cost analysis tools, and other platforms. Provide actionable insights to drive cost optimization and identify trends across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage budgets for AWS and GCP usage, ensuring alignment with financial forecasts based on consumption patterns and business needs.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize cloud spending in AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes environments. Apply best practices for Kubernetes cost management to enhance efficiency.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Pulumi to automate resource provisioning and maintain cost-effective infrastructure management.
• Create and present detailed reports on cloud spending, cost savings, and KPIs. Communicate these insights and recommendations effectively to management and key stakeholders.
• Design and implement cloud architectures that optimize cost savings while maintaining performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a FinOps, cloud cost management, or similar role.
• Strong analytical background with experience in building dashboards and visualizing data.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Economics, Engineering)
• In-depth knowledge of AWS, GCP, and their pricing models.
• Expertise in AWS Cost Explorer, GCP cost analysis, and experience with Kubernetes cost management
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills

Advantages:

• Certification in FinOps or a related area
• Experience with Kubernetes cost management tools such as Kube Cost, Cast AI, quicksight.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Golang or Python
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
