Quality Assurance Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct management of a team of testers.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering individual and team development.
• Develop, guide, train, and mentor new employees and new content areas.
• Lead and maintain a cohesive, collaborative team environment.
• Manage team members effectively in both technical and operational aspects, including work planning, task delegation, and knowledge sharing.
• Oversee and improve team performance towards both professional and managerial goals.
• Monitor outputs, effectiveness, and proactively drive continuous improvement.
• Tier 1 support for professional responses, such as testing methodology, solution formulation dilemmas, and troubleshooting.
• Tier 1 escalation point for issues and inquiries.
• Full responsibility for test planning, execution, and defect documentation to expected standards by all team members.
• Prepare and present test status reports and actively participate in required departmental forums.
• Hands-on test execution, planning, and documentation alongside team members.
• Work closely with the QA Testing Domain Manager.

Requirements:

• A degree is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience leading a team of 5+ testers – required.
• 2+ years of experience in QA Testing for both Client & Server – required.
• Experience in QA Testing for complex, integrative systems with data and API interfaces – required.
• Experience managing QA teams in large or complex projects – required.
• Familiarity with cloud-based systems – advantage.
• Experience in automated testing – advantage.
• Knowledge of working with databases (SQL) – advantage.
• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Dynamics CRM – advantage.
• Experience working in large organizations, especially in healthcare – advantage.
• Familiarity with POSTMAN / Soup UI – advantage.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, test types, and testing levels, including writing test plans, creating test cases, and defect management (including log analysis) – required.
• Experience with defect investigation and troubleshooting – required.
• Experience with Azure DevOps – required.
• Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment – required.
