About the Role:

As an FP&A Analyst at Amp, you’ll be at the heart of our financial and business operations, playing a key role in helping us make smart, data-driven business decisions as we build the future of fitness. This is your chance to shape our financial and business strategy, track key performance metrics, and partner with our passionate team to scale and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage detailed budgets and forecasts, incorporating dynamic business changes.
• Analyzing: Analyze financial performance, comparing actuals vs. budget/forecast, and identify key drivers of variances.
• Financial Modeling: Build robust financial models to support strategic initiatives and business growth decisions.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights to leadership.
• Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitors to provide strategic insights and identify growth opportunities.
• Business Partnership: The FP&A team provides a holistic view of the company and collaborates closely with all departments—including R&D, product, and marketing—to support both operational and strategic goals.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to support leadership with data-driven insights.
• KPI Development: Track key metrics to evaluate Amp’s financial performance and operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PPT is essential. Knowledge in other BI tools big plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly and concisely.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team when needed.
• Experience from one of the Big 4 accounting firms – a big plus
• Familiarity with Netsuite - big plus.
• Passion for fitness and innovation is a huge plus!
