Head of Research

GK8, a Galaxy (GLXY:TSX) company, is looking for a talented and driven Head of Research to join our fast-paced marketing team. In this role, you’ll create impactful, research-driven content that supports thought leadership, drives inbound leads, and fuels sales enablement. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues across departments to gather insights and align content strategies with company goals.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality content, including research reports, thought leadership articles, and blogs
• Collect and analyze data from open sources to uncover new insights
• Conduct in-depth research on market segments, competitors, and industry trends to fuel content and sales enablement
• Audit website content for SEO and usability, identifying gaps and implementing optimizations
• Stay informed about the digital assets ecosystem and continuously seek insights to create thought-provoking content
• Balance short-term execution with long-term strategic planning, ensuring alignment with overarching company goals
• Collaborate with sales, product, and leadership teams to identify needs and craft engaging articles designed for prospects and customers

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in research and analysis roles within the blockchain, cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, or similar industries
• Proven track record of producing impactful content, including reports and thought leadership pieces
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and their implications, with the ability to analyze trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into accessible content
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets

• Knowledge of blockchain, DeFi, staking, and similar emerging technologies is a significant advantage
• SEO expertise, including keyword research and content auditing
