Junior Cloud Architect

Our Junior Solutions Architects are passionate technologists dedicated to helping customers build infrastructures and applications at scale using cloud-based and cloud-native technologies. In this role, you will assist customers in creating highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that solve their business challenges. As a trusted customer advocate, you will guide organizations in understanding best practices around cloud-based and cloud-native solutions, as well as how to migrate and manage existing workloads in the cloud.

As a Junior Architect at CloudZone, you will:

• Assume ownership of the technical relationship with the customer and operate as their trusted advisor.
• Work closely with the sales team in the pre-sale process to understand customer business needs, challenges, and goals and create business value with technology.
• Help customers understand the benefits of Cloud Vendors' offerings and engage in detailed discussions about creating solutions that can be easily implemented in the cloud.
• Keep in the loop regarding the newest cloud technologies and expert strategies.
• Play a key role in developing and delivering technical content (such as blogs, meetups, and webinars) and provide clear guidance on leveraging technology to drive business value.
• Work closely with the Account Management team in the pre-sales process to understand customer business needs, challenges, and goals and create business value with technology.
• Develop your own technological specialization around areas of interest that are aligned with CloudZone’s goals and evangelize.

Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of experience designing, building, refactoring, and/or operating large-scale, impactful IT systems—whether on-premises or in the cloud.
• At least two years of working knowledge of cloud-native technologies architectures.
• Cloud vendor certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) and/or other industry-related certifications.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools, IaC (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, etc.), and Container Orchestration solutions (advantage).
• Knowledge of modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Go, .Net, Java, etc., and/or scripting (advantage).
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• A passion for technology and learning is a must.
• Fluent in written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew.
• Experience working in a customer-facing role is a must.
• Technical Degree: Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or equivalent (advantage).
