Our smART+™ platform is an intelligent, sensor-based feeding system for critical care patients that aims to prevent life-threatening in-hospital complications such as ventilator-associated pneumonia, malnutrition, and acute kidney injury. With the introduction of Nutrition Management 2.0™ to critical care patient scoring systems, the smART+™ platform monitors, analyses, and prevents malnutrition and gastric aspiration in real-time. By providing optimal nutritional care and achieving up to 100% feeding efficiency, the smART+™ platform improves the standard of care and helps ICU patients recover faster.
We are seeking a dedicated and talented PhD student to join us as a Biocompatibility Assistant. In this role, you will:
- Responsible for all Biocompatibility validation and testing activities in the company.
- Collaborate with international biological laboratories and engage with toxicologists and biology experts from around the globe.
- Collaborate with international experts and advisors.
- Contribute to the advancement of critical care patient scoring systems through innovative research.
- PhD student in biology/ biomedical engineering/ bioengineering/ veterinary/ biochemistry
- Hand-on experience with biological testing and evaluation, both in vivo and in vitro.
- Strong ability to quickly learn and understand technical literature.
- Familiarity with FDA guidelines and standard (such as ISO 10993)-big advantage.
- Excellent time management skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in English, both in reading and writing.
