Our patented solutions combine advanced hardware and AI-driven software to provide unparalleled localization of epileptogenic zones. As a growing company, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced R&D manager to lead and execute our development initiatives while fostering a flexible and high-performance culture. Work location is in the Center District of Israel.

· Define and drive the R&D strategy aligned with ELDA’s mission and objectives.

· Lead the transition from a working prototype to scalable, production-ready products and solutions.

· Build and maintain a high-performing R&D environment, fostering innovation and efficiency.

Execution and Development

· Oversee and contribute to the development of ELDA’s technology stack, including hardware and software integration.

· Lead the transition of existing solutions from MATLAB to Python or other environments, ensuring robust and scalable outcomes.

· Drive full-stack development efforts for ELDA’s cloud-based platform.

· Incorporate basic AI algorithms to enhance product functionality and automation.

Collaboration and Management

· Work closely with the CTO, Director of Scientific and Clinical Affairs, and other executives to align R&D efforts with company milestones.

· Manage a small, flexible team and subcontractors, ensuring clear direction, resource allocation, and timely execution.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, clinical, and operations, to meet compliance and market requirements.

Innovation and Quality

· Identify and implement best practices in medical device development, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

· Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate relevant advancements into R&D processes.

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Science, or Technology – or equivalent

· Proven experience in building and managing software and mixed development environments in a fast-paced startup dynamic.

· Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

· Experience with innovation management and bringing new products to market.

· Strong proficiency in both MATLAB. Python and updated development environments.

· Advantage for demonstrated success transitioning projects from MATLAB to Python or other programming environment.

· Hands-on experience in full-stack development, including front-end, back-end, and cloud-based systems.

· Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms and its applications in medical or technological contexts.

· Track record of successfully delivering projects with a focus on execution and meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

· Background in medical device development, including familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., Relevant ISO. IEC. FDA, CE, etc.).

· Experience working on EEG, fMRI, or other neuroimaging data and technologies.

· Familiarity with integrating hardware and software systems in a healthcare context.

· Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and mentor junior developers.
