Senior / First DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a brilliant Senior DevOps Engineer to join us and lead all DevOps activities. 

You will be our first full time DevOps person! As such the position is extremely central - a core member of engineering and the company as a whole. Our engineering group is still small and every member makes a huge difference.

• Design, implement, manage and monitor a scalable, reliable and secure cloud infrastructure
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
• Work closely with the R&D team on improving our processes

• 5+ years of DevOps experience, preferably in a leading position
• Extensive experience with AWS (EKS, DynamoDB, EC2, S3, CloudFront and many others)
• Proven experience in managing a production environment
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes
• Proven proficiency in IAC tools (Terraform, Helm)
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python or other)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and best practices
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (OpenTelemetry is a plus)
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
