As Product Line Manager of Ophir Laser Power Meters at Ophir Optronics - an MKS brand, you will work closely with sales, R&D, engineering, operations, and customers to ensure the profitability and growth of the Laser Power Meters product line. This role requires hands-on engineering experience and a background in managing the product lifecycle of hardware-oriented products, from initial requirements to final deployment. You will report to the Director of Product Marketing.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Developing and implementing product strategies that align with market demands and our technical vision.
• Actively gathering and analyzing feedback from sales, customers, and other stakeholders to shape detailed product requirements, features, and final specifications.
• Working with senior management to create and manage product plans and roadmaps.
• Leading the product lifecycle and ensuring products and releases are launched on time, adhering to high standards of quality and reliability.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams in R&D, engineering, and manufacturing to support seamless product development and technical integration.
• Drafting and reviewing MRDs, PRDs, and detailed technical documentation, ensuring end-user needs are met.
• Collaborating with sales and marcom to provide technical insights into product applications and performance, communicating the unique value proposition and reliability of our products.
• Managing the P&L for the product line, focusing on cost, profitability, and sustainable product success.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 4 times per year.
  
  

• B.Sc. in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, with hands-on engineering experience required; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience: 3+ years as a Product Line Manager with specific experience in managing the lifecycle of hardware-oriented products.
• Proven track record in physical product development, system integration, and technical requirements management.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in making technical information clear and actionable for cross-functional teams.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude and independence.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English, with the ability to give presentations.
  
  

• MBA – an advantage.
• Background in photonics, electronics, mechanics, or similar fields with experience in hardware product integration.
