Personal Security Detail (PSD) Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Personal Security Detail (PSD) Specialist to provide close protection and ensure the safety and security of the principal during travel, public appearances, and daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in close protection, law enforcement, or military service, combined with excellent physical fitness and situational awareness. This role demands discretion, professionalism, and the ability to act decisively in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Close Protection:

• Ensure the safety and security of the principal at all times.

• Accompany the principal during travel, public engagements, and daily routines, maintaining constant vigilance.

• Implement and maintain security protocols tailored to the principal’s needs.

2. Threat Assessment & Risk Mitigation:

• Conduct threat assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks.

• Proactively address and neutralize security threats in real-time.

• Provide rapid and effective response to immediate physical threats.

3. Advance Planning & Reconnaissance:

• Plan secure travel routes, identify safe locations, and conduct advance reconnaissance of venues and destinations.

• Coordinate with local authorities, venue security, and transportation teams when necessary.

4. Security Operations:

• Monitor and manage access control for the principal’s immediate environment.

• Maintain a high level of awareness and readiness for any contingency.

• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles, equipment, and security devices.

5. Discreet and Professional Conduct:

• Operate with utmost discretion, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

• Build trust and confidence with the principal through reliable and unobtrusive service.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proven experience in close protection, law enforcement, or military service.

• Excellent physical fitness, agility, and endurance.

• Strong situational awareness and ability to assess risks quickly.

• Experience in planning and executing security protocols in diverse environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced training in defensive driving techniques.

• Expertise in hand-to-hand combat, weapon handling, or crisis management.

• Knowledge of first aid and emergency medical response.

• Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
