NorthMed Innovation Center

The Innovation and Employment Center will work with entrepreneurs at all stages with the aim of helping them develop their ideas and supporting them with various tools. The organization will engage in creating a comprehensive ecosystem by building infrastructure and connections between various active players in the field, including the education and academic system, local councils, employers, business companies in Israel and abroad, the public sector, the high-tech industry, and investors in Israel and around the world.

The organization operates under a franchise from the Innovation Authority and is led by several partners with experience, knowledge, and reputation in the local and global market, committed to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in the Arab society in the field of technology, with a special emphasis on the life sciences and medical fields. Additionally, NorthMed will actively promote quality employment in the North by encouraging and supporting employers to open branches in the area and assisting in training and recruiting employees.

Job Description:

• Actively participate in efforts to source, assess, and onboard entrepreneurs into the Innovation Center.
• Evaluate technological developments or the technological feasibility of ideas in the field of technology, with an emphasis on Health technologies.
• Assist companies and entrepreneurs in bridging business strategy with innovation strategy within the organization.
• Write summary reports of technological evaluations.
• Support in building partnerships with external organizations.
• Deliver lectures and/or workshops about the center's activities, technological innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Requirements:

• BSc or higher degree in engineering - mandatory
• MBA degree - advantage
• 5 years of experience in a senior technological role in a technology company - mandatory
• Language proficiency: Arabic and Hebrew at a native level, English – high proficiency in written and spoken communication
• 3 years of experience working with or in a startup - mandatory
• Entrepreneurial background - mandatory
