Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Cloud Engineer to drive cloud adoption and transformation for our clients. This is a technical role focused on designing and implementing scalable OCI solutions, optimizing cloud environments for performance and cost-efficiency, and executing seamless migrations to OCI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and system administration.

What You Will Do:

• Design and implement customized OCI solutions for clients, showcasing the platform's capabilities in compute, storage, networking, and databases to address specific business needs.
• Leverage OCI's integrated tools and services to create compelling migration plans for clients moving from on-premises or other cloud environments.
• Automate cloud operations using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and OCI Resource Manager.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Manage cloud security, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
• Optimize cloud costs by monitoring usage and implementing cost-saving strategies.
• Stay current with OCI updates, new features, and best practices.

What You Need:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Proficiency in cloud automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and OCI Resource Manager.
• Strong understanding of OCI services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• OCI certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations, DevOps, Architect, Operations) are a plus.

Nice To Have:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
