Role Overview:

We are seeking a Web3 QA/Automation Developer who will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of our interoperability platform. This role will focus on designing and implementing automated test frameworks and strategies, validating cross-chain functionalities, and rigorously testing Kima’s complex systems to guarantee smooth and secure operations. You’ll play a critical role in scaling our platform and enabling seamless transactions across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and test cases for Kima’s interoperability platform, with a primary focus on blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and cross-chain integrations.

- System Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of the platform’s modules to ensure they meet functional, performance, security, and interoperability standards. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

- Integration Testing: Test cross-chain transactions and data transfers, ensuring smooth communication between diverse blockchain networks.

- Load and Performance Testing: Assess system scalability by simulating high traffic and stress conditions, monitoring performance metrics, and identifying bottlenecks.

- Continuous Improvement: Enhance existing test frameworks and propose new methodologies to improve quality assurance processes across the platform.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure test strategies are aligned with deployment goals. Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and daily stand-ups.

- Documentation: Write clear, detailed test documentation, including bug reports, test plans, and test cases. Maintain test suites to adapt to platform updates and new features.

Requirements:

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in QA automation, preferably within the blockchain or Web3 ecosystem.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or TestCafe. Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest).

- Blockchain Knowledge: Experience with smart contracts and blockchain platforms (Cosmos SDK, Ethereum, IBC protocols, Tendermint) is highly desirable.

- Programming: Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Go for automated test scripting.

- API Testing: Strong experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.

- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach.

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote team environment.

Nice to Have:

- Experience in Cosmos SDK and Tendermint or IBC protocols

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization technologies for test environments

- Familiarity with monitoring tools for test environments and performance testing
