Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise-grade software applications that work for Laptop and PC users (Mac OS or Win11).
• Lead technical strategy. Build and manage scalable software systems to support real-time Computer Vision features. Develop and deploy a framework for computer vision processing for live application and offline analytics use-cases.
• Optimise app performance for minimal CPU usage while maintaining reliability.
• Uphold privacy-first development practices, ensuring all data processing occurs locally and complies with GDPR standards.
• Rigorously test the application to ensure stability, scalability, and performance.
• Employ best practices for software development and documentation, making sure designs meet requirements and delivering high quality software

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technology generalist with 3+ years in building Native Apps for Laptops (.NET or Swift UI)
• Breadth of software development across backend, frontend and devops to build a 0 to 1 product.
• Database: Proficiency in PostgreSQL, SQLite, or other relational databases.
• Integration Skills: Experience integrating AI/ML models into applications.
• Performance Optimization: Knowledge of GPU/CPU usage optimization and memory management.
• Data Privacy and Security: Familiarity with on-device processing, encryption, and GDPR compliance.
• Experience with full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards and design patterns, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience building applications that leverage computer vision.
• Experience building enterprise-grade applications (SOC2 compliant).
• Experience building cross-platform applications using .NET MAUI or Flutter.
• Experience building high-performance apps using using C++.
• Experience with subscription-based monetization models.
