Linux Expert for a Major Defense Industry Organization in Central

We are looking for an exceptional Linux & K8S engineer to join our team and leverage their expertise to drive innovation in our environment, which converges leading-edge tech with critical national security requirements.

In this role, you will collaborate with diverse professional, leading project that involve planning and designing processes in large and complex systems while working in a production environment.

You will also evaluate and implement new and existing technologies in the Linux OS & K8S fields, focusing on automation, monitoring, investigation, performance assessment and resilience.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in managing Linux servers (installation, updates, troubleshooting)
• In- depth knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system (RHEL).
• Experience in writing automation and scripts in Bash and Python
• Experience working with configuration management tools (for example: Puppet, Ansible )
• In- depth knowledge and experience working in kubernetes infrastructure.

Additional qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience working in RedHat Open shift infrastructure
• Good knowledge and experience in networking (L2/L3) storage, and virtualization
• Good knowledge of server hardware (Dell, Cisco, HP)
• Experience working with public cloud (AWS/GCP/ZURE)
