Control Engineer

Topgum is looking for a skilled and experienced Control Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of control and automation systems within our facilities. You will play a critical role in executing technological projects, managing industrial and Operations control systems, and driving process improvements to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, define, and execute control system projects within the engineering and maintenance department, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Design, develop, and deploy control systems for industrial processes and facilities.
• Maintain, upgrade, and replace existing control and automation systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to control and automation systems in real time.
• Utilize professional tools and platforms such as PLC, SCADA, and DCS to design, monitor, and improve system performance.
• Provide technical support and training to operational teams to ensure smooth system operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and innovative solutions.
  
  

• B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in control and automation engineering.
• Proven expertise with PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
• Proficiency in control programming, IT interfaces, and system configuration and customization.
• Experience managing matrix projects and working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in designing and implementing controlled climate systems.
• Strong technical acumen in reading and interpreting schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Industry experience in pharmaceutical or food production is a strong advantage.
